HEATEK® EI EI material is distributed forming a three-dimensional reticular structure.
From the thermal point of view heat transmission through HEATEK® EI is very reduced, due to the presence of a multitude of small and very thin hardened cement reticules containing air locked in bubbles with a volume small enough for not producing heat transfer by convection. Thus, heat transmission through them must occur by conduction, which considering that air is a powerful thermal insulation, makes the heat pass through the cellular concrete, having a very long and complex way through the solid matrix.
This structural geometry also provides high resistance to compression.
